Job Description:
Under the supervision of the Category Manager, the Category Assistant provides administrative support to the Category Manager and/or Category Coordinator in the preparation and completion of merchandise programs for CANEX outlets. She/He also compiles, verifies, records and processes purchase orders, supplier lists, basic stock programs, returns sheets, retail bulletins, markdowns, mark-ups, and other related inventory/purchase programs.

Job Description:
Under the direction of the Project Manager – Human Performance, the Research Assistant – Occupational Fitness coordinates data collection activities and analysis of results for research projects pertaining to medical, psychological and physical fitness. He/She coordinates facility arrangements, equipment set-up and inspection. The Research Assistant compiles data and prepares preliminary analysis of results and prepares research reports or related papers. She/He also recruits and screens subjects for participation in research projects, and supervises research teams during data collection.

This is a paid internship. Maintenance Helper works under the direction of the Lead Maintenance Technician in assisting in set ups, changeovers, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Adhere to the Employee Policy Manual.

Job Requirements:
Primary Responsibilities
• Provides expertise to ensure production lines are functioning within specified tolerance levels.
• Responsible for preventative maintenance activities for equipment, ensures the workshop is cleaned and support the agreed policies and procedures.
• Follow administrative procedures when purchasing supplies, materials or equipment.
• Provide hands on expertise for all equipment.
• Reduce scrap levels by improving operating equipment performance.
• Actively participate in maintenance team meetings.
• Responsible for repairs of defective equipment's, ensure lock out/tag procedures are in place and adhered to and that all safety equipment on machines is in proper working order.
• Maintain a safe work environment through good housekeeping measures and by applying safe practices, follow Provincial and company health and safety regulations.
• Be familiar with relevant MSDSs and WHIMS.
• Perform physical counts and storing of labels, bill of lading accounts and FIFO.
Quality Management
• Perform all tasks in quality manner as outlined in the company's mission statement.
• Participate in corrective actions on line equipment as directed, to ensure product is within customer and internal specifications.
• Inspect and monitor equipment on a regular basis as directed to resolve potential quality issues before they occur.

Salary: Commenserates with experience

• Law and Security Administration diploma or related program, or minimum of 5 years security experience.
• Computer literacy to a level allowing the ability to compose and edit typed documents in word processing software. Basic file management skills including the ability to save, rename, move, copy and attach files to electronic mail systems. Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must possess the ability to deal with stress and prioritise critical tasks, must work well under pressure.
• Calm, responsible manner and an effective communicator – oral and written.
• Must be able to work shifts and be considered on-call for emergencies when available.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and contribute to team objectives.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Fire protection/suppression background is an asset.
• Valid Alberta driver’s licence or equivalent and a current driver’s abstract must be submitted (maximum 4 demerits).
• Class 4 Driver’s License preferred.
• Must be in good physical condition.
• Must submit to and pass a criminal record and security clearance check.

Salary: $15.82

Job Description:
Operation Accountant
The Operations Accountant provides analytical support to the plant operations group and corporate finance office. The position is a key support role in preparation of all financial data prepared by plant finance.

Job Requirements:
Critical Success Factors:
- Support Manager, Operations Accounting in meeting all reporting deadlines including account reconciliations, preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts and other key reporting activities. Preparation of current operating results in comparison to budget and forecast in a timely manner.
- Provide support and expertise to plant operations team by producing analysis of manufacturing variances and key performance indicators. Prepare, interpret and make recommendations to management regarding corrective action required to maintain costing standards.
- Optimize SAP reporting and functionality to facilitate timely identification and analysis of plant operating issues. Communicate with I.T. team to question, understand and implement SAP processes to enhance performance of plant reporting.
- May perform audit activities including inventories and financial performance results. Communicating with both internal and external audit staff in preparing accounting data.

Key Attributes of the Ideal Candidate:
- College diploma or equivalent post sencondary education
- Knowledge of business and industry processes, plus ability to communicate both with plant and corporate personnel enable position to prepare and present data for review and action.
- SAP R3 manufacturing experience with knowledge of BOMS and costing processes
- Proficient with standard office computer technology including Microsoft Office products with a strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
- Ability to work with different functional groups at both plant and corporate level
- Strong understanding of costing principles and various manufacturing and control processes in a manufacturing environment.
